NKSC held a private seminar at its office on April 29, 2011.

Kim Yong Hwan, the presenter for the day, emphasized the decreasing loyalty to the cadre in North Korea, and claimed that the beginning of Kim Jong Un’s rule may create some potential for change in North Korea.

He also expressed negative opinions towards the possibility of colonization of North Korea by China, and stated that radical methods to bring about unification should be avoided.

The seminar was attended by experts such as Choi Hong Jae from the Foundation for Broadcast Culture (MBC), Lim Il, ex-advisor to a North Korean construction company in Kuwait, Kang Chol Hwan (Executive Director of NKSC), as well as many college students.
