INFORMATION SUPPRESSION IN NORTH KOREA:
OVERCOMING SYSTEMS OF CONTROL 
North Korea Strategy Center (NKSC) is to hold a seminar,’Information Suppression in North Korea: Overcoming Systems of Control’.
 
The event will take place at the Jung Dong Francisco Education Center on Thursday September 25, 2014.
 
The following topics will be addressed:
 
1. The System of Information Manipulation and its Purpose in North Korea
    
Kim Dong Sik, Institution for National Security Strategy
Why North Korea manipulates information and what are its end objectives.

4. SPECIAL GUESTS: 
‘North Korea Hackathon’ winners Matthew Lee, Madison Suh, and Justice will talk how technology can be utilized to improve media dissemination in North Korea.They will present their winning concept, a small device that can capture satellite signals to show South Korean cable television once connected to a TV.
